The Magic of Clay

Clay has been an intrinsic part of our life since the beginning of time...it contains the entire history of our world in each particle.
For adults and children alike the tactile and therapeutic qualities of clay are naturally transformed by our hands into functional or simply aesthetic objects for our purpose, our pleasure and our admiration.
In today’s fast paced lifestyle clay offers the user a moment of peaceful time, allowing the mind to be creative with a beautiful medium that is both challenging and forgiving.
Clay is in our lives from the time we wake up in the morning, we walk on clay tiles to wash our face in a clay basin. Then we have breakfast with a clay cup, plate or bowl…Clay is used to make the first mold of a new car design.....it’s in the pages of the newspapers and magazines we read….
Clay is essential in our lives and the experience is enhanced by learning to create things from this fascinating medium...clay.
